DealDesk Voice Connect is a Chrome extension for DealDesk sales agents. It adds a click-to-dial button beside supported phone numbers in the DealDesk CRM and routes the requested call to the agent’s connected phone.
Data used
To provide click-to-dial, the extension processes the authenticated DealDesk session token, selected lead or CRM record ID, CRM page URL, CRM hostname, and phone number selected by the agent. The extension stores the authenticated session token and basic agent display details in the browser’s extension storage.
How data is used and shared
The extension sends the selected call details and authenticated session token only to the DealDesk Voice Connect backend at voice.dealdesk.pk. This is necessary to identify the agent, trigger the connected phone, associate a completed call with the correct CRM lead, and display the resulting call activity.
The extension does not sell personal data, use it for advertising, read unrelated page content, record audio, or include cloud-storage, AI, CRM service-role, or other secret credentials.
Retention and security
Call-recording retention and AI processing are handled by DealDesk’s backend under the organisation’s applicable customer and data-retention policies. Users can sign out in the extension to remove the locally stored Voice Connect session.
